About me

With nearly 15 years of industry experience, I have extensive knowledge in all aspects of the design process; from concept stage through to artworking. Prior to founding Steve Harris Design, I was Senior Designer at an agency based in central Bristol. 

I enjoy working with clients of all sizes - from local startups through to global brands. I approach every project with a meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to realising the client’s vision. I’m especially passionate about branding and packaging, and relish in providing design solutions that have a lasting impact.

  • I have extensive experience in preparing finished designs for all types of output, from artworking for digital use, to creating print ready packaging files.

  • This could range from a complete brand toolkit for a new company, including colour palette, typography, illustration style, guidelines etc, to a brand refresh for an existing business.

  • This includes social media assets, interactive pdfs, digital adverts, videos and animations.

  • Whether you need icons to suit your existing brand, or a style of illustration developing to demonstrate more complex messages, custom illustrations will add cohesion to your brand.

  • I’ve designed logos for clients from a huge range of industries, and carry out extensive research before hand, so I can provide a selection of well thought out options.

  • I have experience in packaging for food, drink, and cosmetics, and love creating eye catching products that stand out on a shelf.

  • During my career I’ve created materials for almost every type of print job, including brochures, stationery, banners, window vinyls, vehicle graphics, and much more.

  • I use local printers whose quality and service I can trust when managing the print production for a project.

  • From full websites to web ready assets, I’ve worked with clients and web developers to help launch and refresh many web designs.
